Back in 2002, I was commissioned to write a short piece for Brave New World, a three-day event at Town Hall, in NYC, honoring the one year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I was lucky enough to have actor Mario Cantone perform the piece, under the direction of Stephen Williford. Mario’s brilliant performance stopped the show.

This year, Roland Tec at Hear Me Out, asked me to read AUNT PITTYPATT IN THE TOWER for the November 2021 Some1Speaking event.
It’s a piece about 9/11, the state of the world, and my childhood friend, Francis Riccardelli, who was killed during the attack on the Towers.
