Aunt PittiPat in the Tower in Some1Speaking Festival

My monologue, AUNT PITTIPAT IN THE TOWER, is one of 5 monologues to be featured at Hear Me Out Monologue’s 1st Monday series, Some1Speaking, on November 1, at 6pm.

I will be reading AUNT PITTIPAT, which is a remembrance of both 9/11, and my old friend, Francis Riccardelli, who was one of the thousands of people killed in the attack.

Here’s the complete lineup of playwrights for Monday, November 1: Hank Greenspan Golp, Rosanna Yamagiwa Alfaro, Lisa Grunberger, Allison Fradkin, and me.

You can reserve your ticket for Some1Speaking at Eventbrite, who will send you a link to the Zoom event a few hours before the 6pm ‘curtain.’  For tickets, use this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/some1speaking-the-art-of-monologue-tickets-119119837641

Ex-Gay Bar awarded Voices for Change Grant by ArtsWestchester

I can let the cat out of the bag: my play EX-GAY BAR, was just awarded the ArtsWestchester Voices for Change Grant, along with composer/pianist Pablo Mayor. This is an exciting opportunity to develop work with the intent of effecting social change. Thanks to ArtsWestchester, and to everyone who has lent their talent and support in the development of the script.

THE MOTHER OF GOD, mini opera libretto

This is my libretto for the ENO Mini Opera Competition, THE MOTHER OF GOD. I used Neil Gaiman’s SWEEPER OF DREAMS as the literary source of inspiration. Thanks.

SEED libretto; one act post-apocalopera

This is the libretto to SEED in case you want to read it or follow along with the score; this was the final class project for myself and composer Gerald Cohen, as part of a year long fellowship with American Lyric Theatre, in the Composers and Librettists Development Program. A great program headed by Larry Edelson.
