Here is my stage adaptation of Truman Capote’s masterwork, IN COLD BLOOD. I was commissioned by Steve Beckler, and the Capote estate gave us permission to use the book. The rights have since reverted back to the estate, but I think this is one of my best pieces. Let me know what you think.
I have had the pleasure of reading this script because Steve Beckler is a dear friend of mine. I was trying to help get a regional theatre I know interested in the project. Though it wasn’t in the cards for them, I like the adaptation very much. I am also a friend of Susan Blackwell, who speaks so highly of you. A great lady. Congrats to you on a really stageworthy adaptation of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. I doubt its what you thought you’d be writing. But, I directed it last summer at a stock theatre and it worked exceptionally well onstage. Probably the best adaptation of a film to the stage I’ve worked on. That takes a lot of craft.
I’m a fan.

is it possible to cut it down or use an excerpt for a one act?
